Atlanta-born, -bred and -schooled, Kimberly Parker Russell got her start in the hand-crafted arts as a child working in her mother's plaster shop, selling unpainted figurines and hanging with the funny ladies who painted them. She continued her studies more officially at the Atlanta College of Art (now Savannah College of Art and Design), before launching a successful graphic design career. (You may know her from the irreverent Bush Cards.) Five years ago, she packed up and brought her love of paper and typography to Brooklyn's greener pastures ... just in time to marry Karl, have Lulu, and ride sidesaddle with sidepony.
