Happy New Year!
And what a new year it is for us, indeed! Sidepony has some new stables AND a new owner. Yep, that's right, Kimberly Dawn Robertson of Los Angeles turned over the reins to Kim Parker Russell of Brooklyn, NY a few months ago. The first Kim decided it was time to concentrate on getting her PhD while the second Kim needed a career that would allow her to stay home and raise her lovely daughter, Lulu. The new Kim, a graphic designer, promises to maintain sidepony's sassy humour and hand-printed quality while adding some new things along the way. So, stay tuned!

Happy New Year, Everyone!
We hope 2007 is treating you well. Things have been great for us so far this year. We've added four new stores to the sidepony list of retailers: Ariel Bookstore in Australia, Flying Squirrel in Brooklyn, Komoda in Chicago, and the Brooklyn Collective. We've also enjoyed a few press mentions. Most noteworthy, we were featured in the New York Times Fashion & Style section in a spread titled "Paper is for Lovers." Grab the hardcopy for Sunday, February 4th or look here for the online version. Super exciting!
Lastly, we're working on new designs, but in the meantime have marked our last tees down to $5 a pop. They've been disappearing quickly but we want to get the last ones out the door. Give us a hand.
Cheers,
sidepony

Two quick announcements, friends.
1. We're offering free shipping on all orders placed inbetween now and January 1st. And, we've got a brand new color by number set which includes one each of our four cbn cards and a pack of crayons for $14. It makes a great stocking stuffer!
2. Over the next two weeks, we'll be participating in two awesome craft events. December 6 you can find us at The Felt Club's Holiday Event here in Los Angeles from 12-7pm at the Ukranian Cutlural Center and, as I mentioned before, we'll be participating in the Bazaar Bizarre show at the Shrine Auditorium from 11am-7pm on December 16.

Howdy Cow(girls and boys),
It's pratically a new season! And as the last days of summer slip away, we want to give you latest update on the pony's adventures.
The last month or two has been filled with action. We participated in a monthly installment of The Felt Club here in Los Angeles and we're hoping to be a part of their holiday show in December. We'll keep you in the loop. It's confirmed that we'll be participating in the Bazaar Bizarre show this December and we've been gearing up for that event as well. We've also made a few donations lately that range from supporting an organization in Southern California that teaches horseback riding to adults and children with physical and mental disabilities to an antenatal class in Auckland, New Zealand.
Perhaps of most interest to you, however, are the latest developments in sidepony goods! FINALLY, we've got our new holiday cards online. They're fresh. But don't take our word for it. Take a peep for yourself. Secondly, we've used the new season to motivate us into whipping out our dustbusters and scouring pads. So, in order to tidy up our collection, we've put a huge number of items on sale. Check out our baby tees and lady tees for the biggest savings.
We'll get back to you with any new developments,

Allrighty! It's been a month since we relaunched the site with our fresh look and new goods. We're happy to report that orders and emails suggest you're pleased with the changes!
This update will be short and sweet, then, so we can get back to the grind. Since we last checked in, we've gotten some fabulous press. The pony was featured in the Liquid Treat weekly digest and also appears in the first-ever issue of the brand-new, d.i.y. mag Adorn. The next time you're at the newsstand, grab a copy and peep page 11. That's where you'll find us.
In addition, new sidepony retailers are popping up across the country. Most recently, we've added Yolk in Los Angeles, phDesign Shop in Houston, and La Bohemes in Whitefish, Montana to the roster.
Most awesomely, we're also a sponsor for the Her Voice, Her View women's film festival at the Pioneer Theatre in New York next month. Check out Altar Magazine for more details.
We'll be back with more events, happenings and designs soon. 'Til then, keep riding.

Happy Spring, Pony People!
It's been almost a year since you last heard from us, but that doesn't mean we've been put out to pasture. Quite the contrary. We've been as busy as ever and have loads of news to report, so kick back, relax, and read on.
First and foremost, we have a fresh face. Our new friends over at Varien whipped the site into shape and, with their programming wizardry, have us back in the saddle again. That means you'll be hearing from us regularly here on out.
Of course, we couldn't relaunch the site without good news about new goods. So, check out the cards section to find fresh designs in the "Smitten," "Thank You," "Just Because," and "Calling All Ladies," catagories. Additionally, in a back-to-the-future kind of move, we're introducing a brand new line of notecards -- "Color By Number!" Plus, in answer to trillions of requests for t-shirts, the pony has decided to offer a limited edition of screen-printed lady tees. Quantities are already dwindling and once they're gone, they're gone. So stop sleeping and drop some in your shopping cart.
Lastly, in locations and mentions, we're proud to report the pony currently has goods in over 40 shops criss-crossing 18 states, 5 countries, and 4 continents. Also, as you can see in the column to the left, we're getting shouts from all sorts of pressy people including BUST, Venus, Curve, and Time Out New York.
Spend some time exploring the new site and let us know if you've got comments, suggestions, rants, or raves.
High fives, The Pony

Holy smokes, Pony Club. Things have been absolutely over the top around here lately. Seriously. After our write-up in the Daily Candy Everywhere Edition on April 25, the pony literally blew up. Daily Candy, we owe you - huge. Plus, we'd like to thank both thriftyboutique.com and indieshopping.com for sending more traffic our way with their fabulous reviews of the pony and Cosmo Magazine for featuring us in their VIP Lounge.
And, amidst printing, packaging and mailing billions of orders, we've finally managed to crank out some cards for dad's day. So, check out "the mamas and the papas" for the card that will set dad's heart a spinnin' on june 19.
We've added more stores to the list of sidepony retailers, too. So, now find our loot in Baltimore's Atomic Books, Berkeley's Dollybird, and Milwaukee's Broadway Paper as well as AuntBeep.com and Elsewares.com.
Alrighty, back to the racetrack,

Greetings, Pony People.
The next few items of business are super important so take note:
Of most significance, the pony finally gets political. You heard us. In conjunction with Women's Heritage Month and our sponsorship of the "Coming Up Short" New York Film Festival launched by Altar Magazine, sidepony has decided to show its true colors. We've designed a collection of feminist notecards bound to bring out the women's liber in us all. See them in the "Calling All Ladies" section of "The Goods."
And, again, we've been getting the dish lately. Grechen of Grechen's Closet has decided to distribute sidepony goods in her upcoming online shop The Needle In A Haystack in addition to featuring us in the "Look What I Found" section of her site on March 16. And, The Tip Jar gave us a shoutout on March 23rd.
